Common Plants of Grazing Pastures on the Lower Namoi Floodplain

This handy glovebox-sized book aims to provide landholders in the Namoi Catchment with a simple guide to common pasture species within the Lower Namoi Floodplain.

It came about as a result of increasing demand from landholders attending property planning workshops and grazing management field days, for a local resource that would help them identify what plants they had on their farm so they could better manage them.

The now well-established partnership between the Cotton CRC and Namoi CMA provided an ideal vehicle to meet the landholder’s needs and provide a range of resources including this book. It was done in collaboration with the NSW Department of Primary Industries and the Commonwealth Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
