Namoi CMA Biodiversity Offsets Policy

This policy describes the principles to be applied when any offsets are implemented. The objective is to avoid further loss of biodiversity that will result in critical thresholds identified in the Catchment Action Plan being crossed. Critical thresholds have been identified where crossing that threshold will cause irreversible and undesirable change to the socio-ecological systems in the Catchment in line with Catchment Targets outlined in the Namoi Catchment Action Plan (CAP).
